Katie Spagnoletti

Received her ballet training at the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet under the direction of Mia Klinger and Kara Stewart. There she had the opportunity to perform George Balanchine’s Schertzo à la Russe, and original ballets by Lazlo Berdo, Tom Gold, and Frances Patrelle. She augmented her training by attending summer programs at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, North Carolina School of the Arts, and Saratoga Summer Dance Intensive. She has performed with Mercyhurst University and Lake Erie Ballet, dancing soloist and principal roles. Since joining City Ballet of San Diego, Katie has performed in the company’s productions of The Nutcracker, Rococo Variations, Carmen, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Carmina Burana, On Swan Lake, Mozart's Requiem, Ramonda Variations, Esmeralda and the Hunchback, The Firebird, Carmina Burana and George Balanchine’s Rubies, Walpurgisnacht Ballet, Agon, Donizetti Variations Emeralds, Who Cares?, Allegro Brillante, Serenade, The Four Temperaments, Concerto Barocco, Square Dance and La Source.
