Chelsea Fenner (She/Her)

​Chelsea Fenner was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and began dancing at the age of 3. Chelsea trained under the direction of Karla Curatolo at Expressenz Dance Center where she competed in many regional and national dance competitions and performed Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. She also attended summer intensives at Ballet Met and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Chelsea continued her education at Butler University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Dance Arts Administration from Jordan College of the Arts. During her time at Butler, she had the privilege of learning and performing works including, Third theme in George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, Paul Taylor’s Piazolla Caldera, Dew Drop and Snow Queen in Butler Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Chelsea continued her studies during the summer of 2016 abroad in Poland, Austria, Slovakia and the Chezh Republic. She performed and trained at the Roman Turczynowicz National School of Ballet, the Fundacja Edukacji Atystycznej, the Olga Slawska-Lipczynska National School of Ballet, the Eva Jaczova National Dance Conservatory, and the Department of Dance at the National Conservatory. Upon graduation, Kuhn joined City Ballet of San Diego in 2018. Dancing with the company until 2021. While at City Ballet of San Diego, she danced soloist and principal roles in various classical and contemporary ballets, as well as having roles originated on herself. While with City Ballet, Chelsea had the opportunity to perform in many George Balanchine ballets such as Who Cares?, Walpurgisnacht Ballet, and The Four Temperaments. Chelsea also is a guest artist with Golden State Ballet for their performances of The Nutcracker. 

Chelsea Fenner joined The Rosin Box Project in 2019.
