We all live within constructs — the systems and structures that shape how we move, think, and relate to one another. Some we inherit. Some we build. Others we don’t even realize exist.
The Construct That Holds Us explores the delicate tension between the frameworks we’re born into and the connections we choose. At its core, the work reflects on the unseen architectures — cultural norms, internalized beliefs, and personal myths — that quietly govern our behaviors, identities, and relationships.
Set against layered, high-octane choreography and a score that pulses with emotional urgency, the piece evokes a world defined by both structure and shadow. It asks us to reckon with the pull of conformity, the desire to be seen, and the paradox that what confines us can also comfort us.
