Comme l’espoir explores conflicting truths, and the tension inherent in holding space for those truths. I am a firm believer in allowing the audience to color in my work with their own viewpoint; my aim is that viewers will find resonance between the work and their own experiences, and will take away a resolution that feels something comme l’espoir—like hope.
