Unified Harmonies is more than just a performance. It represents the transformative power of art. This collaboration between The Rosin Box Project (TRBP) and Art of Elan highlights how art can unite us, especially when we need it the most. Come witness firsthand how creativity can bridge divides and foster community.

The Program
Unified Harmonies presents two world premieres set to music by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw and rising star Kian Raveai, performed live by Art of Elan’s string quartet, and the return of Emily Adams' SO CLOSE, with original composition by Sundance Fellow and acclaimed film composer Katy Jarzebowski.
This is TRBP’s debut at The Conrad—and your presence matters. When you buy a ticket, you’re not just witnessing something beautiful; you’re joining a powerful statement: that art, connection, and innovation belong at the center of our shared future.

The Artist Collaborations
At the heart of this program is the spirit of artistic synergy. Each work is a testament to what happens when choreographers and composers are not merely paired, but inspired by each other’s language, pushing creative boundaries together.
Choreographer Emily Adams and composer Katy Jarzebowski bring their shared passion for storytelling to life in the dynamic SO CLOSE, which premiered during DEBUTS in 2024. Adams’ intricate choreography meets Jarzebowski’s richly cinematic score, weaving together themes of resilience and transformation in a performance that resonates with powerful emotion. SO CLOSE explores human nature’s bad habit of creating walls between each other - both real and imagined. Like any good fable, the story tackles a weighty topic with humility, reverence, and playfulness, allowing the emotional language of music and dance to communicate a larger narrative.
Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw teams up with choreographer Katie Spagnoletti to create a work of delicate nuance and striking depth with a baroque sentimentality. Known for her innovative compositions, Shaw’s music provides the perfect canvas for Spagnoletti’s elegant and emotive movement language, resulting in a collaboration that highlights the beauty of simplicity and connection.
Artistic Director Carly Topazio joins forces with composer Kian Ravaei in an electrifying collaboration that blends contemporary ballet with Ravaei’s bold, avant-garde musical style. Together, they craft an innovative and immersive experience, pushing the boundaries of movement and sound to create a performance that is both daring and unforgettable. Set to Ravaei’s Family Photos—a musical collage of childhood memories and cultural roots—Topazio’s premiere evokes a journey through time and challenging our ability to remain present - shifting from the whimsy of youth to the glamour and nostalgia of a golden Hollywood era.
Your presence at these performances is crucial. By attending, you make a statement that art, connection, and innovation are foundational to our shared narrative. Purchasing a ticket is more than securing a seat; it is an investment in the arts community and a support of local talent.
